Welcome to the MSF e-learning project : nutrition. 

The main objective of this e-learning course is to prepare the medical staff to handle a nutritional project on the field. 

The course will send you in an ambulatory nutritional center that you will have to manage. 

There you will face children to diagnose, treat and follow. And you will have to REPORT; in order to monitor the nutritional center output. 

First, get in the portal and meet the MSF nutrional expert, Pascale. She will guide you and help you throughout the training.

To reach these objectives, you will go through four main steps : 

- The prerequisites of nutrients deficiency
- The clinical cases diagnosis and treatment
- The nutritional center day-to-day management
- And finally the monitoring ON the evolution and progress of your activity.

Now that you have heard the OBJECTIVES of this course, you can start with the training, dealing with field situations. 

Hannah is two and a half years old, lives in Dale village with her grandmother and two older brothers. 

Her mother died one year ago and her father went to the capital to find some work. 

Considering Hannah is 95 centimeters high, weighs 10 point 9 Kilograms and her MUAC indicates that she is hundred and twenty four milimeters mid-upper-arm circumference, which diagnosis would you go for? 

Is she: 
- severe-acute malnurished
- moderate-acute malnurished
- moderate-chronic malnurished or
- she has no malnutrition at all?
