Community: 2,5 million users
The Dokeos community reached 2,5 million users in May. This figure represents the number of users on the portals registered on the community chart.
How did we arrive from there after only 6 years of existence? According to various collected testimonies, it is its ease of use that causes the passion around Dokeos technology. “Software ergonomic”, “very handy”, “usable by trainers and teachers” are the answers which generally return to our formal or abstract investigations, for example when we question the customers by telephone or the participants in a training.
Trainers and teachers recognize themselves in a tool that was not only made for them but also conceived by them. The difference with other systems that Dokeos does not have, indeed, is another roadmap where the synthesis of the needs is expressed by its users.
Among these users, there are some privileged groups that increasingly acknowledge the software: the customers who order the developments whose assembly constitutes the successive versions of the software, the customers in SaaS mode that report dysfunctions and obtain their correction, and finally the members of the teaching groups of good practices (breakfasts of e-learning in particular) which contributed to define the functional needs around the software.
