Setup for Dokeos MIND

I have installed Dokeos on a Linux shared server. Permissions are set in the Configuration Settings with Permissions for new directories and new files set to recommended defaults. However, when I upload a Dokeos MIND file, upload completes with no error but the image is not shown and the edit, download buttons cannot be seen. Can anyone suggest what I need the permissions to be set to for this to work properly?

Have you installed Dokeos mind in your server to have images for the xmind files.

how to install dokeos mind

How do we install dokeos mind on the server.  The most I can find is a button in the configurator.

Here is what that says:

Mindmap converter
To take advantage of the mindmap converter, you need to have Dokeos Mind run on your server

 
I selected yes, now what do I have to do?
 
Do you have some instructions about how to install it on the server?

The option you have chosen for mindmap in configuration settings. In addition to that you have to install Dokeos Mind in your server. Kindly download Dokeos Mind from our website.

More clarification please

Would you like to explain what you mean when you say "install Dokeos Mind in your server"?
I have the same problem.

For installation on the server I have followed this procedure
1. Set "Yes" to the "Converter mental maps" in platform configuration.

2. Download Mind.zip by: http://www.dokeos.com/en/mind
3. Unzip the folder Mind.
4. Copy via FTP the folder Mind on the remote server.

Questions:

  1. The Mind folder must be copied to the root folder or inside the Dokeos?
  2. What else to do after copying?
  3. On the server Mind acts as a demon or needs a Apache as the cms?
