Platform_charset UTF-8

Hello sir,

Thank you for inventing such a great LMS system. I love very much its easiness and cleanness.

I found in Dokeos 1.8.6, you can change platform_charset.

But in Dokeos2.1, the function is taken off.

I would like to set it utf-8, so the dokeos can present traditional Chinese character correctly.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Character Setup (UTF-8)

Hi Johnny,

The charset setup menu is still available in Dokeos 2.1, under Administration > Portal > Configuration > Plus and then at the end of the page. See screenshot below.

Character set

Let us know if you succeed in setting Dokeos to UTF-8 for Simplified Chinese. We are very much interested in displaying Dokeos in Chinese properly and can adapt the software if there is anything wrong.
