Blogs (from a shortening of Web Log) are like a diary kept by the course users to write about their day-to-day experiences with the course. This tool, inside Dokeos, is a communal tool, as all students are allowed to write their thoughts in it.

Pedagogical relevance

The use of a blog is considered relevant when trying to boost users motivation and participation in a course, as they can show their litteral skills, their photographer skills or their analysis skills to others, and at the same time contribute to the historical logging of the out-of-Dokeos events (like a day-trip to a museum for example).
