LCMS Modules

Platform Administration
The LCMS Platform Administration module was decentralized due to the new nature of the LCMS platform. In the old Dokeos a series of tools was semi-standard and activated by the user, which made specific options available for the platform admin. The LCMS however implements standalone-applications which simply use the core-modules of the system. (most notably being the Repository)
The new Platform Admin module simply asks each application for a set of tools available to the platform admin and represents them graphically. (as opposed to the textual views of the old Dokeos)
User Manager
The user manager handles several things:
- User registration
- User management
- User information retrieval
- User profile
- Import / Export
Most of the features available through this module are meant for platform admins, the exceptions being user registration and profile management.
