General description

It is the goal of the LCMS project to define metadata to every learning object in the repository. The repository manager has a metadata component which takes care of this. At this moment, the only partly implemented metadata scheme is IEEE-LOM. A lot of metadata fields can be filled automatically. Think of the title, description, filesize,... Using other tools it should also be possible to define a set of keywords, the language of the learning object,...
